Three launches in three days
|
There is a busy week ahead for the Formula One media, with Renault, Honda and Red Bull all unveiling their 2007 cars over the coming three days. The three teams follow the lead of Toyota, Ferrari, McLaren and BMW Sauber, who all revealed their new challengers earlier this month.
Renault will kick off proceedings on Wednesday at a special event in Amsterdam. After making its first appearance during testing in Spain last week, the French teams 2007 machine, the R27, will be officially unveiled at The Factory, an industrial space in the Oostenburg area of the Dutch capital.
Hondas 2007 machine will break cover for the first time in Spain on Wednesday, during testing at Barcelonas Circuit de Catalunya. The RA107 will be officially presented at the track a day later, although the new car is expected to be unveiled in test colours, ahead of a special livery launch in February.
The assembled media will then stay on in Barcelona for the widely-anticipated launch of Red Bulls 2007 machine on Friday. Expect the usual Red Bull razzmatazz as the wraps come off the RB3, with the teams drivers, David Coulthard and Mark Webber, and the cars famed designer, Adrian Newey, all in attendance.
